Co-founded back in 2013, a tech for good development company based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
GearedApp started life in 2013, when founders Lara, Josh and Andrzej began working together during their Masters at Edinburgh Napier University. Having successfully built their first app for the Edinburgh Capitals Ice Hockey team, we recognised a need for Scotland-based mobile app developers and decided to found GearedApp.
When it comes to delivering digital solutions, people are all that really matters. We believe that with the power of tech we can do great things for humankind, and this is at the core of how we operate.
GearedApp have been growing fast and have exciting plans for the future. Now in 2020, our team of 14 is based in 2 countries and provides services to customers across 3 different continents. We are continuing to develop our technology offering and aim to build the best, cutting-edge digital platforms.
We specialise in developing bespoke apps and web platforms. Brainstorms, laughs, meetings, frequent updates and copious cups of tea are all part of the journey. We inject energy into our work and are excited about finding the right solution to every problem.
